Lennie Guilty Or Curlys Wife?date: Monday september 28th 1931writer: Helga R DunkinThis is Helga R Dunkin, I’ve heard the whole thing about Lennie Killing Curley's wife. I interviewed quite alot of people suchas George Milton , Slim, Curley, Crooks, lots of people from the Tyler Ranch. Lennie didn’t mean to kill Curleys wife. Eventhough he has a manly body, he has a very kind and sweet heart. He couldn't help touching her hair, he loves soft things. If Lennie is being blamed for breaking her neck, What do you think caused him to break her neck? If it wasn’t for her flirting withLennie and letting Lennie touch her hair, the whole matter wouldn’t have happened.Lennie is a kinda fella, and he wouldn’t hurt anyone. Is it his fault he has a mental illness causing him to panic when peoplestart yelling at him? If he wasn’t ill then yes its his fault for pulling but his body’s muscular and he pulls when he panics, thatsall because of his illness.You cant blame anyone for liking to touch soft things because everyone likes soft things. Curley's wife knew that Lennie hasmental problems and yet she goes to him. She goes and talks to him in her most girly way, and lets him touch her hair. If curlysaw what happened, then he could judge who's fault if he wants to but he doesnt have proof that Lennie did it on purpose. Hedidnt see anything, He wasnt even there."Lennie obviously didnt do it on purpose. He is a strong man but inside hes a gental fella" saids Slim, while being interviewed.So i decided to ask Curley what he thinks of this whole incident and he said " Lennie killed her on purpose, he wanted to stealmi wife. Maybe thats why he decided to work here! Why else would they have been alone with herr?"Curley sounds too over protective about his wife to me. George has told me that the reason George and Lennie decided to work at Tyler Ranch was because they wanted a job and afterwards in the future they were planning on having there own place to stayand take care of rabbits.

Dear Editor This is Crooks, the “Tyler Ranch is where I work at. Its not a nice place to work.Moneys low, people are rude and ain't no nice place tostay. I used to be alone all the time until a month agowhen two new people started working at the barn, I used to stay at the bunkhouse where I live all alone everyday. The people who work at the Tyler Ranch are all selfish and Stuck up. I’mglad I don’t live with them. They live in a bunkhouse closer to theTyler Ranch than I do. Do you know why I don’t live with them intheir bunkhouse? Because I’m not allowed. And do you know why I’mnot allowed? Because I’m black. They don’t like me, so I havenobody. The bunkhouse I live in is miles away from the Tyler Ranch. I barely get any money working here, the wages are so low...Maybe Iget less money than the other workers because of how I look.I thought I wouldn’t have nobody by my side until a month ago…Twonew workers came to the Tyler Ranch and started to work with us.One big fella and one small fella. They sure weren’t something Iexpected. They talked to me, friendly. Who knew white guys could benice? Well I help the small fella out because he needs to help the bigfella. The big fella has a mental illness. Though he’s very nice he has a big bulky body which causes trouble around the Tyler Ranch.There are so many problems around here. I hate being treated as if I’msome kinda of trash. Curly one of the workers is so up tight. Everyonefollows him around so whatever he tells people to do, people will do itfor him. If one of the two new workers do anything to Curly or anyoneelse in the ranch, they could get fired.The Tyler Ranch should be a more open space for everyone and makeeveryone welcome, we should get a bigger wage too.After the incident of the big fella, Lennie Small killing Curley's wife.Something

Man killed Girl In Soledad

A innocent girl got killed in a smalltown called Soledad by a man calledLennie Small. Curley’s wife wasfound dead on the floor in the barn.Its been a month or two since Lennieand George started working at theranch, but now because of Lenniekilling Curley’s wife, Maybe Lenniemay not be able to work at the ranchanymore. Curly wants Lennie killedafter that incident.“Something has to be done, He killedmi girl “ saids Curley.“Lennie didn’t mean no harm tonobody, he’s a nice fella.” SaidsGeorge after the death of Curley’swife. “He couldn’t resist the smoothand softness of Curley’s wife’s hair.He just probably wanted to keep onrubbing it.
