I've has acted as a judge pro tem in San Francisco and as arbitrator/mediator.
In 2010, I authored a work of historical fiction, The Flight of the Sorceress. Published by Wild Child Publishing, The Flight of the Sorceress tells the story of the dawning of the Dark Ages resulting from state-sponsored Roman Catholicism from the perspective of two professional women, Hypatia of Alexandria and Glenys, a Celtic traditional healer, Flight of the Sorceress has won a 2011 Global E-Book Award for historical literature and is currently a finalist for a 2012 EPIC award for historical novels. My newest novel, Burning Questions was published in August 2011 and is a noir mystery/suspense/thriller set in Gloucester, MA in 1969. It is the first in a trilogy being published by Whiskey Creek Press and raises issues such as teenage suicide and low level class warfare in a small town.
A Shot in the Arm, Part 2 of the Trilogy will be published on April 1, 2012. Nate defends a black militant on a homicide rap, only to discover that his big retainer came from drug money stolen from rogue government agents. Soon his life is on the line.
