Christianity's Strength
and

weaknesses
Rev: 9-Jul-09Test the spirits to see if they be of God. When one closes an eye to contradictionswithin New Testament scripture, or says "Amen" to that which they have notunderstood, they are part of the problem and not part of the solution to theseproblems. The problem is simply that the Holy Spirit is no longer with the church asit was in the beginning of the Christian era. This is primarily due to the churchwhich changed God’s Holy Spirit into the third person of their triune god, therebyeliminating the Heavenly Father’s power in his very person. The time is runningout and the seventh and final day is approaching quickly. Join in the battle underthe captain of our salvation, the man Jesus Christ.Legend: My words are in bold blue, [my entries],
Christ' words are in red,Words in black are text lifted from reference material
. Caps, boldfaced type and/or underliningare my personal added emphasis. Numbers preceded with the letters "H" or "G"represent the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance reference numbers.
Christianity's strength
is imbedded in God’s word. Every word of God containsan invisible force known as the Holy Spirit. This Holy Spirit is what excites man todo things according to God's will. However, the validity of written words depends onthe proper translation/interpretation of those words. If words do not demonstrateby actions their quality, there is a good chance that the truth is not in them. On theother hand, as in the time of Christ, Jesus along with his immediate apostles, andothers demonstrated the power in God's words. This difference must lie in the basicunderstanding of God's words. Therefore, it is imperative that no contradictionsexist when trying to determine where truth lies. The ability to point outcontradictions in scripture is acquired by those with whom the Spirit of Truth is,and who have chosen to believe in God's words. If a person has chosen to believeand put into practice what Jesus taught, and holds on to the promises and hopes fora better life after this present one, he is a true Christian. The Pope writes: (
Ut UnumSint, Ch1 Para 6, 1995
)

"
How is it possible to remain divided, (Referring to Christianunity), if we have been "buried" through Baptism in the Lord's death, in the very act bywhich God, through the death of his Son, has broken down the walls of division?"

ThePope himself is unaware that true Christians are not and have never been divided.Even if they do not belong to the RCC, if they truly believe in Christ as their Lordand Savior, they are part of the Christian Church that Christ founded. However, most Christians of today do not even understand what the Church that Jesusfounded, really is. Look at what the following references have to offer and thendecide if you are part of that Church.Matthew 16:13-18 ( KJV )
When Jesus came into the coasts of CaesareaPhilippi, he asked his disciples, saying,Whom do men say that I the Son of manam?
14
And they said, Some
 say that thou art
John the Baptist: some, Elias; and

others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15
He saith unto them,But whom say yethat I am?
16
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17
And Jesus answered and said unto him,Blessed art thou, SimonBarjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed
it
unto thee, but my Father which isin heaven.
18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
[In the firstplace, as written here, it must be understood that the Jesus, who is asking thequestion, was the “son of man,” as stated, which means that he was born of man and not a person who lived in Heaven before creation. The spirit of theMessiah was with the Father in the beginning, but not the person of Jesus. This also means that he was the first “born again” human person that wasmade both Lord and Christ. Secondly, the reply that Peter gave was thetruth of the matter. He (Jesus), as the “son of man” was “the Christ, the Sonof the living God”. This is that “rock” that Jesus built his church upon. The“rock” in verse 18 is feminine in gender, "rock/G4073" and I don't think thatPeter would qualify in this case. At the same time, the Church has alwaysbeen portrayed as a loving mother figure that cares for her children and of whom gives us our new birth].Of course, not many in today’s church will agree with me on this matter as I juststated because of the doctrine of the Holy Trinity, in which most members aretaught, does not agree with my opinion here. In this case, they only have to read thesecond chapter of Acts, while making all efforts at believing what they are reading. In this reference we find Peter explaining what, and to whom, had just happened. Now if Peter didn’t understand exactly who Jesus was, then nobody did.Part of the problem, as I see it, lies is the way one enters into this Church; which isby Baptism, preceded by repentance. This, by the way, IMHO, happens to be one of the main problems with the Roman Catholic Church. They are said to be baptizedbut they consciously never really experience true baptism because this sacrament isperformed on infants who have no awareness of the happening. This error inChristian initiation results in too many "watered down" Christian. A true Christianchooses to be Christian because they consciously want to be part of Christianity andeternal life under the Christ of God.This is mainly achieved by understanding that a holy spirit as the "Son of God" wassent by the Father to redeem mankind,

as he, as the Messiah, taught us. This alsomeans that that spirit was perceived and believed on as the Messiah that was to besent to save the Jews. However, as the Christian church teaches, we know fromScripture more or less what had happened in the first century of the church.During the end of the first century, many antichrists already had come intoexistence. However, the church is still here and the “Gates of Hell” have notprevailed against it. However, it must be admitted that the church has forfeitedsome of the spiritual gifts that the Holy Spirit can bring to believers. Who woulddeny this in our day and age? This does not go so far as to state that the Holy Spiritis no longer with the church, but it does indicate that that Holy Spirit has drawn

back some of it’s power from the present organizations under the umbrella of Christianity. This situation is clear in today’s church. Many leaders pretend to betrue believers, but in spite of this they overlook Scripture that is contradictory totoday’s teachings. A true “Truth seeker” can not do this. Therefore the evidence isquite clear as the divisions in the present church bears witness against itself.Though a person may have the outward appearance of a Saint or sinner, they canand will be recognized by their deeds, not necessarily their words. This sameprincipal can be extended to the other churches also. If one finds contradictionbetween the written Word and their actions, this is the proof in the pudding. At thispoint, we have only to observe these groups to have some idea as to theirChristianity. Obviously, we must be very careful not to form opinions too quickly. Itis a shame to see the Church seemingly split up as it is today. This is notChristianity. Then what is it? The answer lies in the definition of the Church whichis defined as that body of "True Christians" as defined above, who are the so called"building blocks" of the "House" where God The Father lives in the heart of hischildren.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost
which is
inyou, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20
For ye are bought with a price:therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1Cor 6:19-20).
Every word of God is also like a spiritual brick in our own personal spiritual housethat we are constructing for the Heavenly Kingdom. The more bricks we have, thestronger the house could become. If for some reason we reject one of God's words, this can equate to maybe a hole in one of the walls of that spiritual house or maybelike a leaky cistern. At this point, I am convinced that the Church made some very wrong decisions wayback in the first few centuries of Christianity that accounts for the presentconditions in today's Christian Church. Before I get started on this topic, I would like to explain two things:1.Even if the accepted church preached some false doctrine, and the followersaccepted this doctrine, they (the followers) are not guilty of any wrong doingbecause they acted in good faith. Plus the fact that scripture gives the Leaderof the Church the authority to change things.
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: andwhatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
However, for preaching that which is not true scripture, the Church is heldguilty and suffers for these errors. Therefore, if errors are detected, they canbe changed by the leaders, to get back on track, so to speak.
