 2009-2010 Northern Division Team Agreement
Team Rules
Members of USSA Northern Division Teams, attending competitions on the USSA/NorthernDivision quota, traveling with or as part of a competition trip organized by the staff of USSANorthern Division, or attending any training camp or project as part of a Northern DivisionGroup, are required to fully abide by theUSSA Code of Conduct.Additionally, team members:Will pay all fees and return all forms in a timely manner, by the published registrationdate for each project and inform the divisional office and project leader of any changesto travel itineraries;Will provide Northern Division with a credit card number to use in case payments arenot made in a timely manner (complete thecredit card authorization form) or a $1000deposit;Will fully participate in the organized accommodations unless excused at the time thatthe selections are made;Will attend all team meetings and training activities on time and fully prepared;Will observe any curfew established by the coaching staff;Will not use or possess illegal drugs;Will not illegally use or possess alcohol;Will not use or possess alcohol in the team accommodations, the team vehicles, or inthe presence of team members who are not of age;Will reside in the room to which they are assigned and will share responsibility withtheir roommates for damages, cleaning charges, and rule violations that occur in theroom when it is not possible to establish individual responsibility; andWill observe any additional rules established by the head coach of the project.Violations of these rules may result in suspension from the team, project, camp, or currentcompetition and in loss of the opportunity to participate in future teams and/or projects.Athletes can be sent home at athlete's own expense.
 Agreement
I, the undersigned USSA competitor, have reviewed these rules, and the “Rules for NorthernDivision Quota Team Travel and Competition” as found in theNorthern Division Handbook, andthe “USSA Code of Conduct” as printed in the USSA Alpine Competition Guide and on theUSSA web site, and agree to abide by all applicable rules and procedures in my participation inany divisional training or competition project during the current season.I realize and agree that a violation of the rules may result in my immediate suspension from ateam, and in the loss of all team services including representation at Team Captains’ and Jurymeetings, training, housing, meals, transportation, or any other service associated with beingpart of that quota team or project member. I realize and agree that I will receive no refund forthe unused portion of these services. If suspended, I will be prepared to make whateverarrangements are necessary in order to return home or continue to compete in the immediateevent, should that be permitted. I realize that actions which are violations of law may result inmy arrest, and that it may be my responsibility in such a case to notify my parents or legalguardians and/or to make such arrangements as may be necessary for my release and returnhome.
