In the campaign to get CBS to FIRE DAVID LETTERMAN,the most effective forms of protest are, in order:
1.
 
Express Mail letter: Write a brief, polite letter stating your objections toDavid Letterman
’s sexist and degrading attacks
on women he doesn
’t
likeAND their children. Tell them that you must boycott the company until theystop advertising on
“Late Night with David Letterman.”
Or, when writing toCBS, just demand that Letterman be fired for being sexist and abusive tochildren. Address your letter to the company CEO, chairman of the board of directors, and other chief officers. Be sure to include in your letter a cc list of the other corporate officers to whom you are sending letters at that company,other sponsors and CBS. Send it by Express Mail.2.
 
First Class letter: Do the same as above, but mailed with first class postage.3.
 
E-mail to the address for the executive.4.
 
E-mail through a form on the company
’s Web site.

Phone calls.It is most effective to target only three sponsors at a time for concentrated protest.When they agree to stop advertising on Letterman, then we will transfer our effortsto other advertisers.
