Bio

Founded in 1974, the Michelle R. Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University is one of the nation's most distinguished research organizations devoted to the study of gender. The Clayman Institute designs interdisciplinary research, creates knowledge, networks people and ideas at Stanford, nationally, and internationally to effect change and promote gender equality. Our current focus is on gendered innovations in science, medicine, and technology.
