David Anderson is President of The Anderson Governance Group (www.taggra.com), an independent international research and advisory firm dedicated to assisting owners, directors and executives enhance corporate performance. In 2010, Directorship magazine listed David as one of its “People to Watch” in its ratings of the most influential leaders in American corporate governance.
David speaks and writes on leadership in governance and management, including columns in Canada (Director, Listed), the UK (Chartered Secretary, Governance), and the US (Directorship). He authored the CICA publication 20 Questions Directors should ask about Governance Committees, and has published scholarly articles in Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of Managerial Psychology, and Leadership Quarterly. David served as Special Advisor to the NACD Blue Ribbon Commission on Board Evaluation in 2001 and to five subsequent Commissions. He is a commentator on corporate governance on Business News Network, CBC News Network and TV Ontario.
David holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Western Ontario, where he instructed Organizational Behaviour, an MBA from The University of Toronto and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors in Canada. David has chaired two not-for-profit boards.
