Just because an article is posted on the internet does not mean any and every word of it should be taken to heart, let alone be considered complete. Relationships and sex are unique on an individual basis. For instance, based on this article, what should the guy do when his wife refuses to have ANY sex because she thinks both his and her genitals are ‘gross’? The guy go ‘ok dear, we should probably continue in a sexless marriage, and I will be miserable so you don’t have to deal with anything gross.’? The wording was very strong around the ‘getting it else-where’, but that guy is really saying, I want to do it with you, and not cheat behind your back.
My wife knows sex is important to me, and when she doesn’t want to do anything with me (even just a hand job), why should I feel like going out and starting her car in the morning, and packing her lunch before she goes to work? She has resorted to ‘bullying’ me, telling me after a few weeks of me not wanting to help her that she is ‘miserable’ and ‘if it got any worse, she would divorce me’.
This swings both ways. Relationships are both give and take.
