Algeria is a country in Africa. It was part of France for over acentury until it became independent from France in 1962. Sincethen there has been a lot of fighting between the army and anIslamic fundamentalist army. Algeria makes money mostly fromselling petroleum to other countries, but they are trying to makemoney from other things. There are many unemployed grown-ups in Algeria who are trying to get jobs.
