Overview
ECO Living Programme is a year-long community grassroots programmethat aims to relief the burden of low/ middle-income families whiledoing our bit for the Earth. Energy, water and waste audits in HDBhouseholds are performed by volunteers in order to identify areas for improvement. The theme for
this time was “Waste”. A healthy turnout of
20 studentsfrom ITE College West and 15 volunteers from the RC volunteered to godoor-to-door to conduct the audits. Most of the students had already taken part in the previous audits. This ishelpful in building up a relationship between students and residents. The RC volunteers participated in a short training session, before theaudit starts.
