Volume#14 of the Galveston Wizard Periodical was the first After-Ike publication. In addition to running into snags on receiving state or federal aid to return to operations to pre-storm standards, the entire clientele was flooded, along with the community. Huge piles of trash sat in front of now-hollowed out storefronts. Those that survive will be even better. The Galveston Wizard is no exception to that rule. We are here to help rebuild better than ever. We hope to receive the support necessary to help rejuvenate the community, commerce and tourism to their greatest levels yet!

Government agencies were turning to the G'Wiz for ideas, suggestions, and ways to promote their efforts. Furthermore, the Galveston Wizard was on the edge of taking on contract assistance, ready to grow to the next level. This was the last publication of the Galveston Wizard printed before Hurricane Ike hit the gulf coast.
