 “An Act of Treason” is a completeadventure for the
Battlestar Galactica RolePlaying Game
. It is designed to be run as aone-shot scenario. It includes everythingyou, the gamemaster, will need to run theevent, including player character sheetsdesigned specifically for this adventure.This adventure could be played as astarting point for a campaign, or evenpossibly used as a “flashback adventure” in which one or more characters rememberthe events that will be portrayed. Aboardthe
Galactica
, a character could, forexample, recognize one of the terroristsyou’ll become acquainted with shortly.When the wild chase through the Bucket’scorridors starts, the characters rememberthe events depicted in this adventure.However, you will likely have to make anumber of adjustments to make it fit yourstoryline and the player’s characters. “An Act of Treason” is set shortly beforethe Cylons attack the Twelve Colonies.The PCs are elite Viper pilots who serve inthe 71st Battlestar Group (BSG) under thecommand of Admiral Nagala. They areassigned to Red Squadron, Atlantia’s eliteViper squadron that consists of BSG 71’sbest pilots and best fighters. AdmiralNagala brought this squadron into being,personally selected its members andreorganized Atlantia’s Red Squadron as agroup of pilots without a set missionprofile, allowing the squadron to acceptalmost any mission.In the adventure, the PCs foil a plotagainst President Adar and fight Sagittaronterrorists who have seized a tylium mineon an asteroid outside of the boundaries of the Twelve Colonies. When they receive abadly garbled message that says that theColonies are under attack, the PCs have tomake a tough decision.
