 “Hole in the Bucket” is a completeadventure for the
Battlestar Galactica RolePlaying Game
.
 
It is designed to be run as aone-shot scenario. It includes everythingyou, the Game Master (GM), will need,including player character sheets designedspecifically for this adventure.The player characters (PCs) are ColonialMarines who serve aboard
Galactica
andare, among other things, tasked withrepelling enemy boarding actions which iswhat the PCs do when the Fleet is attackedby a Cylon basestar, a heavy raider crash-lands in the Bucket’s landing bay, andchrome jobs try to capture the battlestar.Later on, the jarheads investigate thepresumed sabotage of a shuttle that had tomake an emergency landing in
Galactica
’sfiercely fought over landing bay. The PCscapture the saboteur in a timely manner…Or so they think. Appearances can bedeceiving, after all. Before long, the Bucketseems to be heading for disaster. More actsof sabotage committed aboard
Galactica
 might well cause a catastrophe that couldseal the fate of the entire human race. Thereal saboteur has to be caught and caughtquickly.As GM, you should read and becomefamiliar with “Hole in the Bucket” beforeattempting to run it. Players may choose tostray from pre-arranged plotlines, and theonly way to respond to such circumstancesis to know the adventure thoroughly.Moreover, you may use characters fromyour campaign. However, you may have toadjust this adventure to match the level of your particular group of characters. You willlikely have to make a number of adjustments to make it fit your storylineand PCs. Keep in mind that the number of PCs affects the outcome of each encounter. “Hole in the Bucket” is designed for four

-level PCs. If you have more PCs or if your players have particularly powerfulcharacters, you may need to scale up theencounters accordingly.

.Each of your players may spend a couple of minutes selecting and customizing one of these characters.As noted, the PCs are members of theColonial Marine Corps which is a branch of the Colonial Forces tasked with groundcombat operations and ship-board security.
Galactica
has about thirty Marines left. AMarine's duties include guarding theCombat Information Center (CIC) and thebrig as well as other critical areas on thebattlestar, and assisting the Master-at-Arms. Jarheads are also part of Raptorboarding parties.At the beginning of the adventure, however,the players will not play the grunts, though.They will play the roles of the fleet’s mostfamous Viper pilots: Apollo, Starbuck, Kat,and Hot Dog. You may either assign theseroles or allow the players to pick thecharacter they like best. Hand out the
