How To QuillTeardrop Hearts
Paper quilling or paper filigree is a craft that involves rolling thin strips of paperinto decorative shapes, then arranging them to create a picture. You can frame your finished works, or turn them into greeting cards, gift tags, picture frames, oruse them as embellishments for scrapbook pages.
What You’ll Need:
Quilling Tool (slotted for this tutorial)
Quilling Paper
Ruler
All Purpose Glue
Toothpick
Getting Started:
Cut two strips of quilling paper into 6 inches each. Take one end of your quillingpaper and slide it into the slit on your tool. Your paper should be just inside theslot. When you start to roll your paper you should not be able to see your papercoming through the other side of the slit in the tool.
 
Hold your paper in one hand, your tool in the other then start turning your tool.You don’t have to move your other hand; the tool will do the work for you. Try tokeep the edges of the paper even as the paper makes its way around the tool.
Roll your paper all the way around the quilling tool. Remove your paper from yourtool and let your coil unfurl. You have made a loose circle. Make 2 of these.
Make teardrops out of your two circles by pinching the glued end of each circle.
Glue both of the teardrops together. You should now have a completed quilleddouble heart!
