Good advice, especially the part about talking to living relatives! All of the genealogy pro's I've visited with, though, say it's still best to verify the info you find on the internet. Doing census work on-line, I recently found my dad's sister's name totally mis-spelled in Ancestry.com's index. My Aunt Frances suddenly became Frosis, due to the bad penmanship of the census taker! This is a very helpful 10 Step guide, but totally ignores one very important resource, that of the living relatives that you can interview, and gain valuable knowledge about your family. Even your siblings may have information you don't possess yourselves due to a conversation with grandma, or great-grandma, that you were not 'in' on. Sherry www.easyfreetrial.info

Hi there! Ebay has three, ranging in price from $150 to $300, and I saw some on another website that I googled (which is how I found this site) for just under $400 and up to close to $500, and some were sold. I was searching for info for my mom, whose grandfather used one to play for dances in Minnesota when he was homesteading up there. (long time ago, obviously) Does yours work? Does it have a horn? My mom might be interested in purchasing it. Thanks, Sherry www.myberrytree.com/bt32480/free.
