Guru Nanak Dev Mission came into being in 1963 with the sole aim of imparting the message of Sikh Gurus to the common man, especially the youth. For this end in view it provides reading material in the form of booklets, every month in Punjabi, English and Hindi. The Mission is a non-profit organisation. None of its wrkers or executive members is a paid employee. Accordingly the booklets are made available for free distribution at mere cost price. Members of the Mission get these free of charge. At least 18 publications are mailed annually. By January 2011, the Mission has more than 550 publications to its credit.
