A lot of the work by Hofstadter and Vilayanur Ramachandran in terms of scientific literature along with short disperses of Dawkins. In terms of fiction, a bit of Vonnegut, Neal Stephenson, Huxley, and some Asimov. A lot of manga in Japanese (improving literacy perhaps).
