 The River Volga has an upper course but it is not very high up. Thereare many small lakes in the upper course of the river Volga. Theriver is a small stream in its upper course. The middle course of theriver is where the river starts to get deeper and wider. The middlecourse is the longest part of the river. The lower stage of the riverbegins to deepen and get wider and it eventually leads into theCaspian Sea.
