There is a big favor I have to ask. I can't understand why the Republicans haven't done a better job at showing people that the majority of states that are in the tank are there because they have been democratic strongholds for years. Michigan, New York, California, Illionis....need I go on? The states that are "thriving" tend to lean republican/right to work. Why are we not capitalizing on this????? Why is the distinction not being made?????? Until we can clearly show what is up, we are sunk. Oh One more thing. I am TIRED of being "out manuevered". Look at the Minnesota senate race. Now, I have heard that the Census has been moved to the White House and under Rahm Emmanuel. If we lose "control" of the census, it is over for us as far as redistricting. Please, please, tell me there is a plan out there to stay competitive against all the shannnigans.

Congratulations Mr Steele, I love what I have read. I was ready to leave the RNC if they didn't elect someone who reflected my conservative values. I agree with you. We don't need to change the message, just the delivery. We MUST regain our integriy and our direction. I am ready. I am willing. I want to help. I realize the time for sitting back and watching is over. My one concern is the moderate Republicans in Congress and in the Governorships around the country. I am concerned that the Senate Republicans will accept moderate concessions on this mess of a stimulus and call it "good". Not only that, but we have Governors (such as Crist) urging the members of Congress to sign off on this disaster because some of the funds would come their way. I am ready and willing to help in any way possible, but I refuse to support anything less than smaller gov't, less taxes and personal responsibility. Your election excites me and gives me hope for a future with the GOP. Know that you have my support and prayers.
