Jennie63 scribbled: Having read just a few paragraphs of what sounded really interesting, I was sad to see it so loaded with value ridden Christian phrases of the 19th century. It really spoils what should have been great reading. It is the sort of thinking that is responsible in a large way for what is happening in the world today. I am far more interested in an objective view of the past, which does not make the Christian (or any) religion it's anchor point. Surely we have matured past this sort of naive thinking. Sigh!

Jennie63 scribbled: Was thrilled to find your paper - logged in to Sribd so I could comment. I have a similar story. I live in Australia and have been researching my Harvey ancestors who came from St Buryan. To my unending delight, I identified the house where they lived for 250 years and made contact with the present owner, who has done a magnificent job of restoring the house (it was so bad from a 1936 photo that I thought it was a ruin!) I have been wanting to tell our story, and this seems like a very good way to do it. I would be delighted to hear from you - I am going to download your document and read it at my leisure. I have scanned the first few pages, and it looks extremely well written - thank you!! Cheers, Jennie
