The Shuttered City, Issue One

The first issue of my six part personal comic project, The Shuttered City, a science fiction/suspense story set in a far future where humanity has splintered into various sub-species and organized itself into a brutal caste system. The town of Sylvanshire, long isolated from civilization at large, harbors a dark secret, a heritage passed on from the wild and dangerous days of biological experimentation. Into this seemingly normal but truly alien world wanders Leland, the lagomorphic hero of our tale, seeking a lost love perhaps more imagined than real. He is an easy victim for the horrors of the town, both mundane, and surreal, but they may find him a little harder to swallow than they think.
