Guyana has an open democracy and Kean's book and certain renegade elements of the armed forces are trying to suppress the majority wishes of the people of Guyana and trying to overthrow the legal govt of Guyana. The constant conspiracies of renegade army elements backed by elements of the opposition, the theft of arms and ammunition and the destruction and death of life and property are the hallmarks of these elements. The GHRA is not helping the situation. People are committing treason, with the false belief that the govt is illegitmate and the GHRA which is a leftist organization clearly support these criminals and their activities. The failure of the Burnham govt has pre -empted these people and their activities and conspiracies. Ms. Kean's book is racist and has contributed a false sense of nationaistic pride in that it states that sections of the Guyanese people are racist and that Afro-Guyanese and suppressed. The majority of Afro-Guyanese have stated that this is not though they would like to rule Guyana someday. This is legitmate and natural. Thus, if you continue to print articles such as these, you are only contributing to lies and propanganda and false assertions of a young anf vibrant democratic country.
