ue un histórico y grande a la vez. Guillermo Stábile tiene dos joyas en su carrera.Como jugador, haber sido goleador de un Mundial (en 1930). Como técnico, ganarnada menos que seis veces la Copa América, un récord prácticamente imbatible. Tresde esos títulos fueron consecutivos (1945, 1946, 1947). Stábile gozaba de una granestabilidad en su puesto: dirigió a Argentina desde 1939 hasta 1958.

e was one of the greatest footballers inhistory, a born winner. GuillermoStábile can boast of two jewels in hiscrown. As a player, he has the merit of having been a World Cup’s striker(1930). As coach, he attained theCopa América six times, in anunparalleled record. Three of thosetitles were won in a row (1945, 1946,1947). Stábile enjoyed a great stabilityin his post, he coached Argentinafrom 1939 to 1958.
