Space Available Compiled
Space Available, our experiment in which Adam Palmer was writing a Christian SF novel entirely on Twitter, has come to an end. Adam’s delightful tale of a young con man selling bits of outer space to unsuspecting rubes took us through time travel, alien invasions, and a laser squad attack on a medieval castle. Great fun as her hero got his comeuppance but also had his chance to be truly heroic. Because of some events in his life over the year of 2011, including having his house burglarized and his laptop stolen, Adam was not able to do as much with the story as he’d hoped. It didn’t end up being lengthy enough to fill a printed book, as we’d intended. However, we will be creating a cover for it and releasing it in e-book form sometime in 2012. Did you know that most experiments don’t result in anything wonderful? But this one did. Not only is it a rollicking fun story, it taught us about the experience—the freedoms and the restrictions—of writing a novel on Twitter.
