“Building bridges of hope throughthe love of Jesus Christ!”
“God’s Plan ‘A’!” August sermon series by Stephen Handy
No matter what the circumstances or realitiesexisting within the world, God designed a planthat doesn’t include options. God is notintimidated by the complexities of dailychallenges. God still chooses ordinary people todo the extraordinary work of the Kingdom onearth as it is in heaven. No matter what is going on in the world,God uses people as vehicles of love, truth, compassion, mercy, justice and ultimately transformation.God’s Plan A for redeeming the world was enacted over twothousand years ago through Jesus Christ. Now that plan for expanding the kingdom is extended to us. Will you take thechallenge and accept the plan? Trust me, God’s plan alwaysworks - just look in the mirror!

VBS Wrap-up!
Vacation Bible School2010 was a blast - a“Galactic Blast!” Over 50 children and adultsparticipated in music, games, crafts, Bible stories, and a verysuccessful mission project. The childrendonated their money (some donated their entire allowance over a couple of weeks!)to fund “Mission: Backpacks 4 Kids,” a Toolsfor Schools project the TN Conference ofthe United Methodist Church is supportingthis Fall. The children raised over $125 for thiscause in just four weeks! We are so proudof them, and we are so grateful for our adult volunteers who put in hours ofpreparation, prayer, and leadership tomake this year’s Vacation Bible School asuccess! We had a “Galactic Blast”praising God!
