enthusiasts that was established in the 1930’s andis one of the largest local level clubs in the UnitedStates averaging about 200 current members. MASis a member of the Federation of American AquariumSociety (FAAS)
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the 1st Thursdayof each month (Note: there are no monthly meetingin July.) at 7:30 pm. in St. Christopher’s EpiscopalChurch, 2300 N. Hamline Avenue., Roseville, MN. (atthe NE corner of Hwy 36 and Hamline Avenue.)Most meetings focus on a presentation by a
speaker who is often nationally recognized. Visitors
are welcome to attend.
Board Meetings
MAS Board of Director meetings are held onthe 2nd Thursday of each month, (except for July) atthe same location as our general meetings, at 7 pm.and are open to members of MAS. Those wishing ac-tive participation are encouraged to attend.

MAS has a monitored e-mail announcementlist available to all members. Messages are broadcastto all members on the list. If you would like to havea message broadcast or subscribe to this list you mustsend your request to: mas-admin@careytech.net

Aqua News
The Aqua News is a publication of the MAS.
It has been recognized with national awards and is
a great source of information. The Aqua News isincluded with membership. Members are encouragedto submit original articles for publication and may besubmitted by sending them to the address below. Ar-ticles and artwork may also be submitted to the editorat monthly meetings or by email. Submissions may behand written, but typed and submitted on 3.5 disketteor CD is preferred. Artwork must be in a printable/ copyable medium such as pen and ink. Submissionsare printed in black and white only at this time. Allarticles are subject to editing.
Exchanges and Reprinting
Exchanges with other non-prot groups are
welcomed. Articles may be reprinted provided propercredit is given to the author, this society and publica-tion. Two (2) copies of the publication containing thearticle must be sent to the exchange editor at
