storage site, today announced the launch of new exclusive tools and services that fully
support AVCHD HD video camcorders, eliminating consumer hurdles of uploading and
storing high-tech files.

Motionbox has designed a number of new capabilities in direct response to the
increased demand for High Definition camcorders that are flooding the market today.
These new features represent the best in class upload, playback, archiving and
download experience for AVCHD video, including:

AVCHD, a video format used in many of the top consumer HD camcorders (JVC,
Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, etc.), is impossible to play or edit on a personal
computer without the assistance of complicated and potentially expensive editing
software. Motionbox removes this hurdle by allowing members to seamlessly upload
AVCHD files, trim them down to the best parts, and combine clips using a simple,
browser-based Mixer.

This new desktop application, which uses The Adobe® AIR™ platform, enables
users to upload a number of AVCHD and HD videos quickly without interruption, no
matter what file format or type of internet connection. The Express Uploader
accommodates very large files and resumes upload, even when a computer goes
into “sleep mode” or is restarted.

The Motionbox HD player features crisp, widescreen quality (up to 720p), full screen option, and easy-to-use controls. Premium members may download their videos to watch on their PC and/or Mac at resolutions up to 1080p. Motionbox Premium members may also embed HD videos on their personal blogs, websites, or profile pages.
