MOTIONBOX NAMES LIZ HUGHES AS VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Former General Manager of RealNetworks, Inc., Will Lead Motionbox’s Growing Partnership and
Distribution Deals
New York, November 6, 2007 Motionbox, the online personal video sharing service that offers

consumers a fun and easy way to upload, share and mix the video they are shooting every day, today
announced that they have named Liz Hughes as Vice President of Business Development. Liz will manage
ongoing partnership development for Motionbox with a variety of media, consumer electronic hardware,
retail and telecommunications companies, which will support ongoing efforts to driveMotionbox’s
growing subscriber base.

Bringing nearly twenty years of experience with her, Liz has worked with innovative technologies in
driving revenue growth through partnerships with a variety of partners. Over her ten years at
RealNetworks, Liz worked as General Manager of Strategic Relationships where she was responsible for
technology partnerships and distributing RealNetwork’s Rhapsody music service through key channels.
Before her promotion to this position, Liz held the title of Senior Director for the RealNetworks Media and
Entertainment Group, where she managed annual revenue of $10 Million and negotiated exclusive
contracts with a number of major media companies.

Most recently, Liz served as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts in the Media & Entertainment
practice for Iconoculture, Inc., a consumer research and advisory services company. While at Iconculture,
Liz managed and led a client’s services team which delivered executive counsel in support of marketing,
advertising, editorial and programming strategies for large mediaclients.
