Hello President Obama, I would like to know what is going to happen with unemployed workers that are/going planning to go back to school? I am a 27 unemployed working that was getting benefits until the cut me off without notice. I started school June 8th, I did my payment request on the June 15th as I am suppost to, informed TWC that I started school. I thought I was doing the right thing by informing them about this, but I wasn't. In return i was denied my unemployment due to the fact that i have returned to school. The reason for their decision was: "Our investigation found you are unavailable for work because you are going to school during the same hours as your regular work and you will not quit school to go to work. Mr. President I don't have a job, and have not had a job in the passed 4 months, not that I'm not looking for one, or don't want one, but its hard to try to find one. I am more than willing to work and take care of my home and not have to draw unemployment but unfortunatly that has not happened. I decieded to go back to school becasue I couldn't find a job, and I didn't enjoy just sitting at home and doing nothing to improve my life. Now my family and I are being penalized for actions that i have taken that TWC does not agree with. I have family in another city of Texas that get their unemployment, are in school and also have help from the WIA Workforce Investment Act Program. Is there any help out there that I can get so that I can get my unemployment back or help to pay for college and my bills that are not going anywhere? Thank you Flora Yvette Brown in Texas
