I was looking forward to reading this untill I got thru the first few sentences. Looking to undermine the Russians? Obviously. It is accepted common knowledge amonst ALL OBJECTIVE OBSERVERS that Georgia started the war. That doesn't excse Russias adventurism, but unconditional support of Georgia in this situation can only serve to bolster the position of the russian nationalists, the neo Stalinists and other vested nterests in proving that the West is conspiring with the eastern european states to deliberately discredit russia, and strengthen the geopolitical position of the NATO Allies. It isn't Rocket Science.
