Signing up for Scribd

From Scribd's home page, enter your email addressin the sign-in box.2.
 
Give yourself a password that's easy for you toremember but hard for others to guess.3.
 
Enter a username. This will be used to generate yourprofile link (i.e.http://scribd.com/username) 4.
 
Click Sign Up.If you don't see the sign-up box on Scribd's home page, clickhere, then click "Click to Join Scribd Now"You will receive a verification email at the address youprovided. Click the link in the email to verify your emailaddress and enjoy Scribd's full benefits. You may continue touse Scribd while you wait for the verification email.
Logging In to Scribd

From Scribd's home page, click the yellow tab on theSign Up/Login box.2.

Click Login.
Uploading documents to Scribd is a breeze. Here's how:

You'll find the yellow Upload button at the top of every page on Scribd. Once you're logged into Scribd, click it to go to theUpload page.

Click "Click to Choose Files" and select one or more files from your computer. If you can't see this button, check that yourbrowser plug-ins or security software is configured to allow traffic from Scribd.3.
 
Next you have a chance to rename your uploads and set privacy settings before uploading. When ready, click "UploadDocs."4.
 
After your documents finish uploading, you'll be given the opportunity to categorize, tag, and describe your documents.These are optional, but highly recommended. Thorough descriptions dramatically improve others' ability to find yourdocuments on Scribd and via search engines.
