O.K., this is getting weird. One of the alleged Russian deep cover spies is "Anya" Chapman, a glamorous, dark haired, blue eyed business woman from New York. The assassin who tried to kill Mildred, one of my CSAC agents, was a glamorous, dark-haired, blue-eyed business woman. My novel was written twenty-years ago.

Pretty soon, you won't have to read my book, because Fact will have caught up with Fiction. The FBI announced today that they have apprehended the 11th suspected deep cover Russian agent in Cyprus. He had flown there to allude capture. In my novel a key undercover agent is alerted to the fact that the hero and his colleagues were on his trail and he does the same thing; except my story was written twenty years ago.

The arrests by the FBI yesterday of 11 Russian spies posing as ordinary Americans is another example of Fact imitating as Fiction. As followers of my Scribd account know, a major subplot in this novel are the unexpected attacks by people who seem to be ordinary Americans, but are found to have false IDs obtained using birth certificates of dead Americans. WARNING: Spoiler Alert. In this excerpt, Mike reports to his boss about these strange attacks.

  • Falling Star, A suspense novel about aliens observing earth

Please read the first 85 pages of my redrafted novel, Falling Star. In this redrafted version, I restructured the story to tell more about Mike Liu and his interactions with prejudice. Mike's experiences serve as the basis for his unlikely friendship with Johnny Thapaha, the Navajo shaman and mystic who holds the key to solving the mystery of the objects discovered off the coast of the U.S. In addition, the story tells how the initial investigation of the object is conducted. I welcome comments as I would like to get this story told. The pages are formatted to 6X9 to approximate book size and to facilitate your reading.
