This is a novel and, as such, is fiction. But it draws upon a life-long interest in space and our interaction with the unseen forces of the universe. A particular interest is how mankind will react to visitors from outer space. The deep ocean technology is based on my work as a deep-ocean research engineer. Initially written in 1990-93, many of the systems discussed have come into reality. Even subplots like large numbers of Russian spies living under deep cover for decades have come true.
