Founded in 1994, The Filipino American Arts Exposition (FAAE) is a grassroots, nonprofit organization that contributes to the artistic and cultural pride of the Filipino American community and strives to be a meaningful community tradition among the many great ethnic institutions of San Francisco. The PISTAHAN PARADE is a colorful display of Filipino pride and a celebration of our dynamic community with festive floats, marching contingents and musical groups along Market Street from the Embarcadero to the Yerba Buena Gardens. The PISTAHAN FESTIVAL features: Filipino American Jazz Festival • World-class entertainment on two stages • Adobo Cook-Off • Balut-Eating Contest • Art Pavilion • Creativity Pavilion • Culinary Pavilion • Heritage Pavilion • Health Pavilion • Dance Pavilion • And more!
