Raymond graduated from Queens College (CUNY) with a BA in Anthropology. During his undergraduate studies, Raymond wrote an honors thesis comparing grooming patterns in captive populations of hamadryas baboons and geladas (click to read the thesis). Both of his focal animals were from Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) zoos: The Bronx Zoo and Prospect Park Zoo.
Raymond is currently pursuing a Masters (MA) in Psychology with Concentration in Animal Behavior & Conservation at Hunter College (CUNY).
Some of Raymond's interests include primate ecology, primate behavior, primate evolution, evolutionary theory, comparative behavior between human and primates, and grooming. He is a "sometimes" bird watcher and enjoys an occasional whale watching trip as well.
Raymond is also one of the contributor at Primatology.net and Anthropology.net.
