Love the Doomsday first page, and the way that everyone has a smell, especially the half-smart and the stupid ones. Fast-paced. A quadruple homocide? Lots of vampires in a crime book. VERY interesting! Zombies as well. Reminds me of maybe the male Lauren K Hamilton. Love the French Canadian educated in Boston. "Killing a zombie isn't complicated" ... Great dialogue on page 46.
