Dear Reader, You’ve just downloaded a free copy of CAUGHTSTEALING by Charlie Huston. Lucky you. I think you’ll agree that Huston is one of the most ruthless-ly inventive storytellers at work today—and I’m notthe only one who thinks so. His books have beennominated for a handful of awards and havereceived high praise, like when Stephen King calledhis novels “blistering” and “unputdownable,” or when the
Washington Post
said that “Among thevoices of 21st century crime fiction, Charlie Hustonis where it’s at.”So if you dig this novel like I think you will, youshould know that there’s more Charlie Huston to behad. His next novel, THE MYSTIC ARTS OFERASING ALL SIGNS OF DEATH, hits stores January 13th and is not to be missed. Anyway, I thought you should know. Now back to your regularly scheduled reading,Mark TavaniSenior EditorBallantine Books
