Car buyers now have a new tool on the internet and it is called AutoBrag.com, a free to use car searchengine designed to help car buyers save time and money by answering the question: how and wherecan I find the best price on a new car?Founded in early 2006, AutoBrag.com was established to simplify the process of buying a new car andto put consumers directly in touch with the dealerships offering the best prices available. Previously,buyers who went online with the hope of finding a good deal on a new car would fill out long informationforms about themselves and what type of car they wanted. This information would be sold as a lead todealerships that would then contact the consumer—a nuisance to both parties, and revealing personalinformation that the consumers may not want to give out.“We came up with the idea of AutoBrag after noticing how the lead generation process was evolving,”said Danny Chan, CEO and founder of AutoBrag.com. “Consumers have become more comfortablewith using the internet to find information about cars and subsequently what dealerships to buy themfrom. Once the buyer has found the car they want, AutoBrag provides them with options of how tocontact the dealership.”To use AutoBrag’s services, consumers must be invited to become a beta tester by AutoBrag or by analready registered user. In order to be invited, consumers must register only their email addresses atwww.autobrag.comwhich is only used for access to AutoBrag.com. From there, users will be taken to apage to begin his or her search of 2006, 2007 and 2008 car models. AutoBrag plans to continue toexpand the website with new and updated buyer and seller options that will be based on user feedback.Additionally, as the website and user base grows, the listing of new cars available for purchase will beexpanded to meet the consumer needs.Once the user has selected the year, make and automobile model, a search will be generated, listing allthe dealers available. Each dealer result includes: MSRP, ePrice, savings, and percentage of savings,as well dealer name, model type, color, VIN and stock numbers, and contact options. To the extremeright of the page, a photo of the vehicle will appear, and directly below it, the maximum and averagediscounts and price will be listed. Should the buyer want to contact any of the dealers displayed, theycan either click on the individual email mailboxes or the link icons, which directly opens to the specificdealer’s page, featuring the available automobile and dealership contact information.
