Roshk scribbled: Good research; pretty informative. But Extremely West Centric! The title should have been '50 Battles that changed the Western World'. However that hardly matters. Most of these battles didn't affect my history, so these are just of academic importance to me. Similarly, whatever affected history in my part of the world may have been irrelevant to the author. The only thing I wish for is that the writer should have acknowledged this and mentioned clearly that this is about a certain section of the world only.
