How To Market and Promote Your Live Event Production
You were chosen to market an important live event, but you’ve never done this kind of work  before. You’re biting your nails because you’re concerned about how you should do this. Youdon’t have the first clue…………… No matter what the event is for, each one has to be marketed and promoted the right way or itwill be a disaster and you will be to blame. Here are some suggestions to follow to have your  promotion to flow smoothly.You should know what themarketing promotionis for. What is the event? That has to be indetail, before you can think about doing anything else. What’s the purpose? What’s the goal it’strying to achieve? Is it for entertainment purposes or fundraising purposes? When you find thatout, you can start to shape your marketing and promotion.You have to have a number in mind as to how many people will be attending, or at least howmany people you plan to invite. You have to know who you’re going to invite, is it mostlyentertainers, politicians, entertainment directors and producers, everyday people, or a mixture of all of them? Depending on what type of event it is will determine who will be on the guest list.The planning budget will depend on several factors: the number of people expected to come, thevenue size,rental of tables and chairs and what food may be served at the event. You shouldhave a monetary figure in mind of how much you’re looking to spend. You also have to keep inmind costs for renting the venue and putting down a deposit.Take time and check out several venues before you decide on one. Look around and see if their setup is what you’re looking for. See if they have plenty of rooms and whatever else you need toaccommodate everyone. Make sure the venue provides enoughlighting for your live event production. When you have made a decision, provide a date and the venue where it will be held.There may be some phases of the event where it requires you get permits and licenses.
