This primer is designed to provide one with the skills necessary to effectivelyemploy Minitab within the Six Sigma framework. It begins with an introductionto selected file, data manipulation, and help functions, followed by a series of demonstrations related to transaction and service quality. The student isencouraged to work through each demonstration, following the lead of theinstructor. Each demonstration begins with a page highlighting the Minitabfunctions applied in working-through the examples. These pages reflect thecommands that the user would see on the screen while using Minitab (theheirarchical structure of Minitab is preserved).It is assumed that the user is familiar with basic statistics, e.g., hypothesistesting and regression analysis.
