Any leadership that the U.S. may have had in the

The

French government report summarized

in

this issue giveshope that a

major

nation may support new initiatives. There is

also

an

unconfirmed report that

the

British House

of

Lords

will

have

a

debate on UFOs on January

118,1979.

The recent landings in kuwaithave

stirredup

interest

in the

Arab world,

and we

expect

to

have

a

first-hand

report

from

a scientist on the

scene.

On the home

front,

the CIA has now released close to athousand pages

of

documents,

but is

withholding more recent

information

suggesting

a

continuing involvement

on

their part

in

studying

UFOs

well

into

the

1970's.

New

developments

on the

CAUS-GSW

lawsuit

will

be reported as

soon

as available.
