Really enjoyed the show at shooter's Hill. Two points that may help on similar sites in the future if no one has suggested these before: 1. Please read "Stranger than Fiction" by Dennis Wheatley. His story of his commission by Winston Churchill to guess Hitler's intent on the invasion of Britain. He got both the invasion point, Reculver, and the name of the Operation correct, nearly, Sea Lion~Lion! 2. Any contemporary fortifications necessitate examining the archives of the Royal Engineers, particularly the Engineer in Chief, not forgetting the Royal School of Military Engineering at Chatham..
