Thank you for your kind words. The subject of the 144,000 is often debated. They do not taste death by the way of persecution. See {EW 282.2} The pioneers taught that some of the 144,000 would fall asleep during the sealing time and be raised in the 'special resurrection' mentioned in Dan 12:2. We are to repeat the words of the pioneers say EGW also read {2SM 111.2}

Sabbathsermons, you have to be very cautious when reading the Spirit of Prophecy, paying very close attention to the times mentioned. Ellen White knew that Christ would have returned during her time, 1890, under the condition that the people of God were prepared. Re-read Early Writings pages 36-38 and TM pages 91-92. The 144k will be LIVING. Ellen White is no longer living (Revelation 6:17, 7).
