Proverbs 2:2
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and applythine heart to understanding;

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thyvoice for understanding;

If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as forhid treasures;

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, andfind the knowledge of God. Your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God:

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers,take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

We do not presently get brought into the synagogues, but we do sufferfor righteousness' sake:
I Peter3:14
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meeknessand fear:

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers,they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
Proverbs 2:6
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth comethknowledge and understanding.If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all

James1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally,and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
