Revelation3:22
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

When we don’t listen and rebel against the Lord, we become deaf to the voice of theLord.
Ezekiel12:1
The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,
Ezekiel12:2
Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyesto see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellioushouse.
Ezekiel12:3
Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by dayin their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, andthe wisdom of God.
I Corinthians1:22
For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
I Corinthians1:23
 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, andunto the Greeks foolishness;
I Corinthians1:24
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Proverbs 8:2
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
John the Baptist called on people to repent of their ways and prepare for the comingof Jesus in Matthew 3:3:
Matthew3:3
For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his pathsstraight.
Prophecy fulfilled:
Isaiah40:3
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of theLORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Isaiah40:4
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low:and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
Isaiah40:5
And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together:for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Proverbs 8:3
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
Jesus is the door. There is no other way to enter heaven:
John
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and

10:9
 out, and find pasture.
John10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come thatthey might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John10:11
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Proverbs 8:4
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
Jesus’ sheep hear his voice:

Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thoumake us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

John10:28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall anyman pluck them out of my hand.
Proverbs 8:5
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understandingheart.
Putting the Proverbs in order:
Ecclesiastes12:9
And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the peopleknowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.
In Proverbs 1: 21-23, Wisdom is crying out to the simple, the scorner, and the fool, but when they didn’t listen, the scorner met his destruction. Now, Proverbs 8:5Wisdom is only crying out to the simple and the fool. Hebrews 12:7 ask thequestion:
Hebrews12:7
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son ishe whom the father chasteneth not?
Answer to the question asked in Hebrews 12:7: At this point, Proverbs 8:5, wisdomis no longer crying out to the scorner. Only to the simple and the fool. In John 8: 43-44 Jesus rebukes scorners that seek to kill him and let’s them know who THEIRfather is.
John8:43
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
