STRAIGHT TALKFOUNDATION...
is a Ugandan NGO, formed in 1997.It grew out of the teen newspaper,
Straight Talk 
which started in 1993.STF is based in Kampala but hasyouth centres in Gulu and Kitgum.STF has a staff of about 80,including 18 journalists, fivetrainers, 23 counsellors, fourresearchers and innumerable youthworkers.
STRAIGHT TALKFOUNDATION...
produced over 11 millionnewspapers, broadcast over 3000radio shows and worked with over3000 teachers in 2006. STF iscommitted to keeping adolescentssafe.Boys perform role play in their Straight Talk club. The real lifedrama is that boys have a long period of sexual acitivity betweenfirst sex at about 18 and marriage four to ten years later. Delayingsexual debut, reducing partner turn over, and consistent andcorrect condom use are critical behaviours for boys.
Fathers can do more:
only 20% of adolescent boys say that their fathers are their most important source of information on body changes, growing up and staying safe. (Population Council, 2007)

Alone and vulnerable:
 
girls who are orphans are 1.5 times more likely to start sex before the age of 15 thannon-orphan girls. Only slightly more than half of all 10 to 14 year old girls live with both parents: 27% of girls donot live with their mothers.
