STFBoard of DIRECTORS
STRAIGHT TALK FOUNDATION
is a Ugandan NGO, set up in 1997. It grew out of ateen newspaper, Straight Talk, which was startedin 1993. Toda it practises
COMMUNICATIONFOR SOCIAL CHANGE.
Its main focus is
PREVENTING HIV IN ADOLESCENTS.
STF takes a
FAMILy-CENTRED
and life ccleapproach and follows a sexual health promotionmodel. It increasingl works with
PARENTS.
Parents who are present and who have a goodrelationship with their adolescents are
SUPER-PROTECTORS.
STF also supports parents tohave their own safer and health sexual lives.Respecting the primac of mother tonguelanguages, in 2008 STF worked in
14LANGUAGES.

In Uganda early sexis prejudicial to theeducation of bothboys and girls.
