My book Time Management That Doesn't Suck was inspired by my own frustration with existing time management tools. Especially when you are working as a freelancer (meaning outside of an office environment), you really need to be responsible for your time. You aren't on a salary, and there's no one breathing down your neck telling you what to do. So if you don't manage your time effectively, you won't be able to survive.
While I'm working, I like to travel around the world. In the last year, I've lived in Malaysia (5 months), Arizona (2 months), and Bulgaria on the black sea coast (3 months). I also visited Thailand (2 weeks) and Singapore (2 weeks).
My favorite place to work is The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and I wholeheartedly recommend the Vanilla Ice-Blended Coffee with an added Espresso shot.
There's no great secret to my lifestyle. Just a few time allocation tricks that I've honed while working at my jobs and while managing software projects.view less
