  • Tofu Stir Fry

    Peanut stir-fry is an Asian favorite. But here we lighten the load and keep within the yin yang idea of balancing the flavors — not going all the way to one side. We do that by using the subtler almond butter instead of heavier, stronger peanut butter. The flavor is still there since we add the peanuts — and only a few — as a topping. Tofu embodies the yin yang idea, for it is like the Chinese circle of nothingness: tofu takes on whatever flavor you cook with it.
